What is The Style Plug

Sit back and plug into this blog. Forgive me in advance, I am new to blogging and I’m sure to make mistakes. I can promise that I will be real, authentic and my truest self. All in which are exactly the characteristics of The Style Plug. The Style Plug is a space to created to connect through conversation focusing on empowerment and authenticity. Style is not only about how we dress. It is how we walk in a room, it is how we converse, our confidence, how we treat others and how we celebrate ourselves. I want to connect to the truest versions of my clients, by doing so I create style parties that connect clients to unique clothing from top brands and rising designers. These parties are similar to the “Pampered Chef” parties that our moms, grandmas and aunts use to throw on weekends. You know the ones where they would buy all the latest kitchen gadgets. Well, The Style Plug is similar to “Pampered Chef”, except clients don’t order kitchenware from a catalog. I designed these parties to bring clients a fun, more personalized, intimate online shopping experience. Each party is tailored to each group prior to the party. Clients will answer a questionnaire that will tell me their likes, dislikes and improvement they want to make for themselves. From there I curate style pieces and looks to present to clients. Oh did I mention cocktails. Sidenote: I often wondered why we only got champagne when trying on wedding gowns. Shopping is definitely more fun with a cocktail or two! Anyway I wanted to design an experience that gave clients more access to the wonderful world of online shopping because lets be honest shopping at a brick and mortar locations can be quite disappointing and a dead-end, especially when you are looking for uniqueness and styles that are more fitting to your truest self. We evolve and grow in life and our style should reflect our growth. I want to encourage change for my clients, not just externally but internally as well.
